Rodrick Mugishagwe leadership extends beyond the boardrooms and into the communities. As the National Coordinator for the Tanzania TB Community Network (TTCN) and TB focal person at EANNASO and he actively collaborates with local communities and Civil Society to amplify their voices and advocate for their needs. By fostering a strong sense of unity and mobilization, Rodrick has empowered affected communities to take ownership of their health outcomes and drive positive change.
His academic journey reflects his passion for effective program management and community engagement. He holds a master’s degree in project planning and management, and he is currently enrolled for Master of Public Health at Liverpool University. With over 8 years of experience working with civil society and communities combined with educational achievements, Rodrick has honed his expertise in program management, advocacy, strategic planning, resource mobilization and community health and knowledge management.
Rodrick is a dedicated advocate in the field of TB with a profound commitment to improving the lives of those affected by TB. He serves as a member Developing Country NGO Delegation to the Stop TB Partnership Board, sets in the Ministry of Health Community TB Technical Working Groups, Board member of the Tanzania Stop TB Partnership, Member of the Tanzania TB Constituency to the TNCM and he is currently serves as the Oversite Chair for TB in the Mines in Southern Africa (TIMS), a Global Fund grant.
